Devin Casey

DEVIN J. CASEY currently oversees the implementation the CUI program for the Department of State. He serves on the CUI Advisory Council, the CUI Registry Committee and other interagency working groups. He previously worked as the lead for implementation and oversight activities for the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Program as the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) where he contributed to the development of the National Institute for Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-171, Protecting Controlled Unclassified Information in Non-federal Systems and Organizations. While at ISOO Devin authored numerous policies and guidance documents that have aided stakeholders, agencies, and industry, in the implementation and management of the CUI Program.  Prior to his work at ISOO Devin worked for the US Department of Agriculture in their Classified National Security Programs Branch.  He also serves in the Army reserves as an intelligence analyst and security manager with tactical and strategic experience.
